A welder was crushed to death when a static model of the plane fell on him; the credits end with his name. The actual flying aircraft later went to a freight company in Alaska and crashed into a mountain in Denali in 2010, killing its crew. The climax was written for the White House; the producer moved it to a casino that was about to be demolished anyway — "They blew up the tower on their own. We arranged to blow up the front."
