A rod-shaped, deep-fried snack from the wall of a fast-food counter — a soft, slightly creamy slurry of chicken and/or turkey pressed into a stick and coated in a crust of corn-based breadcrumbs, then fried and eaten hot. It shares the hot cabinet with a skinless minced-meat sausage and a breaded ragout croquette, the three most common snacks of its kind, and comes with ketchup, mayonnaise, curry sauce or peanut sauce. An extra-long version exists. Across the southern border it goes by a name that means roughly "chicken-crunch".
